Snowball Strain

The idea behind Snowball is to breed high-quality hybrid marijuana that doesn’t require a lot of effort from the grower. The creator of Snowball, Ethos Genetics, breeding and crossing a strain known as “Chem 4” with their original White in order to produce big buds with dense trichomes and a heavy tropical fruit aroma. Snowball emerged in the Southeastern United States.

Medical marijuana patients can benefit from the strain’s physical, mental and emotional effects. Snowball is recommended for individuals with fatigue, depression, anxiety, nausea or lack of appetite. Patients describe feelings of euphoria and relaxation and increased energy levels, and a decrease in aches and pains.

The known side effects of this strain include dry mouth and eyes, paranoia and dizziness. The THC content of the strain ranges from 17-23%.

Snowball marijuana plants have a hybrid phenotype. They reach maturity around 9-10 weeks and grow up to 65-90 cm tall. Most growers cultivate Snowball in an indoor setting because of its tendency to quickly stretch if not properly controlled.

The strain has a flowering time of 7-9 weeks and produces between 450-500 gr/m2 when cultivated indoors with an average yield of 19.1 gr/watt. Outdoor planting provides a yield of 18 gr/watt and flowering time increases to 10 weeks.
