Mars OG Strain

Mars OG is a stable, pure Indica cross of OG and Mars. One of the most popular strains in the Bay Area, Mars OG has a great flavor and has an intense body high that leads to deep sleep. It has flavors of skunk, berries, and sweet musk. Mars OG is named after the planet of mars as it was grown through indoor hydroponics.

When cultivated, this plant can grow up to a height of around five feet. This plant has purple hairs, and the leaves are somewhat heavy with trichomes. When looking at the buds under magnification, it has funky and bright red hairs with a turquoise color covering much of the bud.

Indoors, Mars OG plants usually grow to about 1.5 to 2 feet tall. However, they will often double in height when moved outdoors during the final stage of flowering. While growing indoors with hydroponics or soil, buds will develop rapidly during the first 5 to 7 weeks of flowering. By week 8 or 9 of flowering, it is important to flip on the grow lights for 18 hours a day to maintain strong growth and prevent stretching.
