Sunshine #4 Strain

Founded in the late 1970s by Cindy Leah Rosenthal, Bodhi Seeds are dedicated to crafting cannabis strains that are disease-resistant, stable, and potent. Their most recent success is the Sunshine #4 strain.

The winner of both First Place for Best Hybrid Flower at the 2015 High Times Medical Cup in Michigan and Second Place for Best Indica at the 2016 Emerald Cup in Santa Rosa, California, Sunshine #4 is a hybrid strain from a Chemdawg 4 and Sunshine Daydream (Sativa).

Its effects are described as both stimulating and euphoric. Patients who experience stress-related symptoms caused by lack of sleep will enjoy this strain’s ability to stimulate their body’s endocannabinoid system.

Another quality that distinguishes Sunshine #4 is its disease resistance. In addition, it is said to be an outstanding source of CBD, an element that many patients use to help deal with pain and stress. However, the adverse effects include dry mouth, dry eyes, and some may feel anxiety.

The THC content range between 21% and 24%. Growing is ideal for indoor cultivation due to its short flowering period. The strain does not require any indoor cultivation methods such as hydroponics but will be optimal when growing outdoors. Flowering typically takes 7-8 weeks.
