Though it may sound like a whimsical name for a strain, it’s actually quite accurate. Sherbert is an indica-dominant hybrid that features both Girl Scout Cookies and Pink Panties genetic makeup. This strain is potent, with THC levels ranging from 18% to 20%.

Sherbert originated in the Pacific Northwest, where the long, wet winters led breeders to focus on plants that could thrive in difficult conditions. Sunset Sherbert bred the original strain, and it eventually made its way up to Oregon, where several different breeders put their own unique stamp on the hybrid.

The effects of this strain can be felt almost immediately after smoking. A wave of strong relaxation washes over your body, accompanied by intense euphoria and happiness effects. Medical marijuana patients have found relief from various symptoms, including chronic stress, depression, insomnia and pain.

The adverse effects of this strain are also strong, though. Cannabis users have reported feelings of anxiety, paranoia and paranoia after smoking Sherbert. As with many strains, users may also experience headaches, dry mouth and problems with thinking or memory.

Growing this strain indoors is possible but not recommended. You can expeHowever, and this strain produces a moderate yield and high levels of resin. Sherbert can grow to an average height of about 24 inches and a typical spread of between 12 to 16 inches. Outdoors, Sherbert thrives in the Pacific Northwest.

The smell of this strain is very strong and musky, similar to skunk strains like OG Kush. The smoke also carries overtones of fruit, citrus and spice. Sherbert flowers at 9 to 10 weeks, and the buds will be bright green when they mature.
