Orangeade is one of the most popular strains globally due to its high levels of THC and low levels of CBD. Orangeade is a hybrid marijuana strain made by crossing Tangie and Purple Punch. It originated in the Netherlands and has been sold since 1969. This strain has a flavor profile featuring sweet citrus and floral notes.

In addition, some say this strain may help curb your appetite due to the high levels of humulene – the primary terpene found in this strain.

The adverse effects of this strain include dry eyes, dry mouth, and paranoia. Some users may have a difficult time focusing on tasks due to the high levels of THC that can range from 15-20%.

Flowering usually takes 9 to 10 weeks, sometimes longer. This strain grows best outdoors, with a flowering period in the northern hemisphere of May through October. Yields are typically high at 500g per square meter. Indoor planting yields about 55g per plant, making this a strain that is not recommended for new growers.

Orangeade has oval nugs that are light brown, dark green, and furry, with a thick layer of crystal resin outside each nugget. The buds can be moderately dense and have a lighter green color on the inside of each bud when broken apart.
