Khalifa Kush Strain

Khalifa Kush is believed to descend from the popular and well-known OG Kush. This strain smells very similar to OG Kush: sour lemon and pine, with a cerebral effect best used during the daytime. It originated from the original Kush breeder, Green Door Coffees, in Colorado. The name Khalifa Kush is a portmanteau of “Wiz Khalifa” and “OG Kush”.

The effects are very similar to that of the original OG Kush. The high is very head-based and gives a feeling of relaxation and happiness. Some users report feeling sleepy or giggly after consuming Khalifa Kush. Medical marijuana patients often use the strain to treat anxiety, stress or mood disorders, headaches, and chronic pain.

The adverse effects of Khalifa Kush include dry mouth and dry eyes. Khalifa Kush is a potent strain found in dispensaries with THC levels above 20%. The overall quality of Khalifa Kush tends to be pretty consistent, though.

The buds are dense, with an abundance of resin coating each small nugget of perfectly manicured leaves. It can be grown indoors or outdoors, provided that it is placed in a sunny area. This strain does not grow very tall and tends to only grow up to about 15” when grown outdoors. Flowering takes about 9 weeks to 2 months.
