The perfect strain to enjoy on a crisp spring day or after a long, hard winter morning’s work, Cherry Punch offers energizing psychoactivity coupled with mellow relaxation. This Indica-dominant hybrid is an infusion of Cherry AK-47 and Purple Punch F2, both known for their cherry flavors and aroma.
Cherry Punch is highly aromatic with notes of fruity sweetness, reminiscent of cherry pie filling. It originates in the Pacific Northwest, where the high-altitude climate produces potent plants.
This strain is excellent for combatting conditions like anxiety, nausea, and migraines – it also relieves chronic pain. Cherry Punch is also used to stimulate appetite among cancer patients and others undergoing treatment for an illness.
The adverse effects usually associated with marijuana consumption include dry mouth, distorted and/or double vision, dry eyes, and tiredness. Dry mouth can also be caused by smoking too much of any cannabis strain.
The THC content of this strain is between 15 and 20 percent. Growing this strain takes patience, as it takes between nine and 11 weeks from the time you initially plant your seeds until harvest. The effects of Cherry Punch last for about two to three hours, after which you might feel sleepier than usual.
Flowering takes place between eight and nine weeks, after which the buds will be ready for harvesting. A moisture level of 10 to 12 percent is optimal for optimal flowering. Cherry Punch can taste best when smoked with a percolator or a bong, though you can also use it in a joint or blunt. It’s ideal for planting it indoors or outdoors, although the plant does very well when grown outdoors regardless of the climate.
