9D4 Strain

9D4 strain is a hybrid between a 1994 Super Skunk and a few of the most sought-after strains from the 1960s & early 1970s – Original Glue, Haze, and White Widow. Today, 9D4 is a tough find that many consider an authentic representation of pre-war cannabis. It offers consumers earthy, chemmy notes with traces of hashish odor on top.

Originated in 1974, Original Glue was bred by a Dutch grower, coming with characteristics of both German and South African marijuana types. Users reported feeling a mood lift, with a sweet tingling sensation throughout the body. You may also feel focused and creative throughout the day, with a boost of energy.

It is better suited for nighttime use since it may have sedative effects. 9D4 has been recommended for patients with depression and chronic fatigue syndrome. The high also helps relieve headaches, arthritis pain, menstrual discomfort, muscle spasms, and PMS symptoms.

The adverse effects of 9D4 are common to the other Original Glue strains, namely dry mouth and sedation, which can lead to dizziness—the THC content range between 18% and 23%.

You can grow it indoors and outdoors. Indoors, it is recommended to use soil or hydro growing mediums since the plant height will reach a maximum of 2 meters. Outdoors, you should plant the seeds in May. It prefers a dry climate with a pH level between 5.5 and 6.9, while the ground should be sandy or loamy with many air pockets to allow for better drainage to prevent root rot.

Flowering takes between 55 and 75 days; however, flowering time can vary depending on growing conditions.
