White Russian Strain

White Russian is a Sativa-dominant Hybrid marijuana strain made by crossing White Widow with AK-47. This strain originated in Canada, and it has since been found worldwide. White Russian displays the fruity, sweet, and skunky aromas of both its parent strains.

It produces euphoric, cerebral effects that will leave you feeling physically relaxed with a mentally stimulating head high. Medical marijuana patients say this strain is ideal for relieving symptoms associated with chronic pain, anxiety and inflammation due to the presence of THCV, which targets CB1 receptors in the brain’s endocannabinoid system.

As it’s strong on the Sativa side of things, new cannabis consumers should be cautious with this strain as its potency tends to be quite high, around 18-20%. The adverse effects include dry mouth, dry eyes, paranoia and cottonmouth. In addition, it’s recommended to consume White Russian slowly as it can induce severe dizziness.

The buds on White Russian are very dense, with traces of amber trichomes and lots of fiery red hairs. This plant has a flowering time of around 8-10 weeks. It’s not advisable to grow this strain indoors unless you have a lot of experience growing marijuana because it requires a lot of work and attention for successful results.
