Space Candy is a Sativa-dominant hybrid strain created as a cross between Heroes of the Farm’s Cherry Space Queen and Cotton Candy. Space Candy is among the more potent strains in its class named for its sweet, tangy flavor profile that tastes like candied apples and cherries. It originated in Oregon but was bred and introduced to the world by Herbies of the Farm.

This strain treats chronic pain and stress-related disorders, including migraines, nausea, and depression. In addition, this strain’s cerebral effects may help medical marijuana patients with ADD/ADHD and PTSD. The effects of this strain are reportedly similar to that of an energetic Sativa, with the added benefit of deep body relaxation.

The adverse effects of this strain are reported to include dry mouth and red eyes. In addition, the THC levels of this strain have been measured at 18-24%, with a CBD count between 0.1-0.5%. Therefore, space Candy’s THC levels are considered to be quite potent. For this reason, it is not recommended for novice or casual users.

Growing this strain indoors is ideal but can also be grown outdoors in a warm, dry climate; indoor growers require a growth period of approximately 9 weeks. This slow-growth cultivar gives off an energetic aroma with fruity undertones and a sweet finish reminiscent of candied cherries.
