Royal Kush Strain

The Royal Kush is a hybrid strain from G13 Labs that is well-balanced, producing powerful trance-like effects with an earthy, skunky aroma. It comes from the renowned lineage of Afghani and Skunk #1, known for its potent medicinal effects.

It originates in a cross of the Skunk #1 and Afghani. The origin story is an incredible version of the old saying, “the first generation male is a king, the next one is a prince, and the third one is a pauper.” The Afghanis have also been known to produce excessive resin production on the dry flower without any pre-flower Priming, which makes them good candidates for G13 Labs.

This strain is known to provide increased energy, euphoria, and pain relief, leading patients to use it for stress, appetite stimulation, and nausea. Adverse effects of this strain include dry mouth, couch lock, and sedation.

Royal Kush has 16-24% THC content and 0.1% CBD. Growing takes 9 weeks but can be as short as 4 weeks. It’s a medium-height strain with a large, slightly elongated shape. It’s ideal for planting this strain indoors and treating it like a hydroponic plant with drip irrigation, coco coir, soil-less mix, top or bottom-fed, or even in a soil grow.

Yield is 45-500 g/m2 indoors and 300-600 g/plant outdoors. The buds are long and dense, with an abundance of red hairs and crystals forming throughout. When properly grown, the smell will cause your mouth to water though the flavor is milder than expected.
