Punch Breath Strain

Punch Breath is a classic hybrid, but with a twist. Instead of being the usual Mendo Breath or Purple Punch cross, it’s a cross between both strains. It has some of the earthy and bitter flavors of the original Mendocino strain and some sweetness from Purple Punch. It originated in Amsterdam, hence the name and showed a wide variety of colors and traits from coast to coast.

Medical marijuana patients report that Punch Breath is also great for appetite stimulation, stress and pain relief. The cerebral effects are a bit heavier than average, and it leaves feelings of euphoria, relaxation, tingly and uplifted. It’s a strain with plenty of personalities and some great medical applications.

The adverse effects can also be a bit heavy. The headache and dizziness are strong, so it’s important to slow down when using this strain. The THC level of Punch Breath is high (20% THC), especially when it’s a pure Mendocino strain, so be careful. This strain smells of fruitcake and berry soap. The taste is more sweet than sour or bitter.

This strain is also great for growing indoors and outdoors. It can grow up to 4 feet in height, but it will not stretch much because of its compact plant structure. This strain can get a little furry, so it’s best to keep the lights on as often as possible. Flowering takes around 8 weeks, but you won’t be disappointed.
