Pot of Gold is an Indica-dominant strain originating from a cross between Skunk 1 and the Hindu Kush and is mainly used for medicinal purposes. It has very thick, slimy buds with huge yields. The buds have some sweet, fruity notes to them without being too strong in flavor. This strain originated in the Netherlands and was brought to the United States in 2007 by Dutch seed bank Flying Dutchmen.

The effects of this strain should be felt almost instantly upon smoking and will make the user feel relaxed and sleepy with an overall sense of euphoria. It has been known to help medical marijuana patients with insomnia, anxiety, and depression, as well as muscle pain and loss of appetite.
