Lemon Diesel, also called Lime D, is a hybrid cannabis strain made by crossing California Sour with Lost Coast OG. Like most hybrids, it has some combination of the characteristics of the parent strains. The high from this strain is relaxing but still allows you to be focused and coherent. It originated at the Emerald Cup Cannabis Cup in 2016.
Medical marijuana patients reported that this strain alleviates stress, anxiety, fatigue, muscle pain, and sleep disorders. In addition, the effects of Lemon Diesel are relaxing and euphoric, while at the same time, this strain provides high levels of happiness and clarity.
The known adverse effects of this strain include dry mouth and eyes, dizziness, and waves of paranoia when taken too much. The THC content is about 19 percent, while CBD measures about .07 percent, and CBN is about .05 percent.
The smell of the Lemon Diesel strain is citrus and diesel, while the taste is sweet with hints of citrus and pepper. The plant has lime green buds that are coated in trichomes and bright orange hairs. It can be grown indoors or outdoors, but it prefers a warm climate. The Lemon Diesel strain is not recommended for novice cultivators due to the high THC content.
The Lemon Diesel marijuana strain grows tall and will usually produce three harvests per year. It can yield up to four ounces of bud per plant with an average smoke weight of around 20 grams per gram. Flowering can take 10 to 11 weeks to complete.
