Jager Strain

This indica strain is made by crossing LA Confidential and Blue Dream, two strains that share similar effects. Like its namesake, this strain produces full-body effects that are relaxing but not sedating. It tastes and smells like black licorice and is sometimes called JR or JGR after the German dark alcoholic beverage.

Jager originated in 2013 in northern California. Medical marijuana patients describe the high as happy and euphoric, making it a good choice for recreational smokers who want a happy high. It is also used to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression; some patients say it helps with migraines and headaches. The high lasts up to two hours and tends to leave users hungry.

Its effects are strong but not overwhelming like other Sativas and Indicas. It’s a heavy indica that is euphoric and sedating. Bouncing between sleepiness and wakefulness, Jager sedates you but has you energized at the same time.

The aftermath effects can include dry eyes, dry mouth, and headaches. The strain’s THC content is around 18% to 19%and its CBD content is around 6%.

This strain can grow indoors like most marijuana strains. It can be grown outdoors, but it will struggle to produce the same amount as a grower can get with indoor plants. For best results, Jager is best grown in an indoor environment. Plants are usually 10 to 12 inches tall and need the right amount of light and nutrients during their vegetative stage (3-5 weeks) and their flowering stage (3-4 months).
