Gorilla Girl Strain
- Dry Eyes
- Dry Mouth
Gorilla Girl is a potent hybrid strain that combines an unnamed phenotype of GG (f.k.a. Gorilla Glue) and GSC Thin Mint. It emerged in the Netherlands, and Sweet Seeds first introduced it at the HIGH TIMES Cannabis Cup in 2013. The strain’s aroma is intense, with notes of cypress wood, earth, and citrus. This skunk-like smell may be off-putting to some consumers.
This strain has a cerebral effect that can leave you happy with creative euphoria. Medical marijuana patients have reported using Gorilla Girl to treat stress, nausea, pain, and insomnia. It also helps stimulate your appetite. Due to its high THC level, you may feel couch-locked as the effects take hold. This hybrid has a moderate CBD content that can help temper some of the psychoactivity.
The adverse effects of Gorilla Girl include dry eyes and mouth. This strain can induce a panic attack in some consumers. Because it contains high levels of THC that start at 14%, this strain is not recommended for first-time consumers or those with low tolerance.
Gorilla Girl plants are smaller and have a branching structure than other Gorilla Glue varieties. The buds are dense and light green, with orange hairs and red hairs throughout the plant. The plant itself smells skunky, but it does have some mold resistance due to its GSC genetics.
Flowering time with Gorilla Girl is fast. You can expect to harvest within four weeks, giving you ample time to enjoy the effects before they completely fade away. It can thrive indoors or outdoors under good conditions. Indoors, Gorilla Girl grows well in hydroponic systems and can grow up to five feet high. Though the plant is compact, it’s not so small that you worry about it not producing enough yields.
