Gelatti is a rare hybrid from Cookies and the perfect blend of Gelato and Biscotti strains that offers all of the knockout effects of OG with a flavor profile that doesn’t disappoint any old-school smokers. It emerged in the Bay area of California and can be hard to come by outside of the region.

Medical marijuana patients suffering from chronic pain, insomnia, anxiety, PTSD, and glaucoma may be wise to give this strain a try. The high-CBD content in this strain can help many patients combat insomnia by promoting a restful sleep cycle. In addition, the effects of Gelatti are known to be relaxing, uplifting, and euphoric.

The adverse effects of this strain include dry mouth, fatigue, and dizziness. The THC content is high at 20%, but the CBD content is quite low, so be careful of falling asleep while driving or operating heavy machinery. The effects last for approximately three to four hours and are not particularly strong if smoked regularly.

This strain starts with an earthy taste of coffee and chocolate, and it trails off into a more herbaceous flavor with hints of lemon and pineapple. Growing this strain isn’t hard, and it has a flowering time of 60-65 days. It will yield about a pound per plant at a medium height.

Gelatti can be grown indoors or outdoors. However, this strain does best in a sunny location that receives plenty of light, especially during the flowering stage. For the plant to survive and thrive, it must be given good soil, fertilizer, water, and grow lights.
