Critical Strain

Critical is an Indica dominant hybrid strain bred from the Afghani with an heirloom Skunk #1. It originated in the Netherlands in 2016 and is compatible with northern latitudes. The aroma has a strong presence of earthiness mixed with sweet pungency.

Medical marijuana patients will find relief from insomnia, stress, and chronic pain. The high from this strain is mostly sedative with a quick uplifting head buzz that may cause some to become talkative and focused. It leaves feelings of euphoria and full-body relaxation.

The adverse effects will include dry eyes and a dry mouth, and more munchies from the production of THC at 16%. The nugs are compact but plentiful, covered in sticky resin that emits a sweet aroma.

This is a high-yielding strain that is ready to harvest after 8 weeks of flowering. It produces dense buds on short, squat plants with dark green leaves and bright orange hairs. This plant grows best in an indoor environment with 24/0 light, though it also does well outside in temperate climates with adequate soil and sunlight.

The plant can be grown low to the ground and is easy to train. Plants are generally short and squat, yielding around 500 g/m2 indoors, which can go up or down depending on cultivation techniques, growing space, and genetics.
