Cereal Milk Strain
- Dry Eyes
- Dry Mouth
- Bipolar Disorder
This hybrid marijuana strain is a cross between the indica-dominant strain Cookies and the Sativa-dominant strain Snowman. It’s made by crossing Y Life (Cookies x Cherry Pie) and Snowman, a Sativa-dominant Cookies pheno. This marijuana has an obvious sweet milk and ice cream nose that will keep you dipping back into your stash.
It originates from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The strain was originally known as Cookies Milk, but then it was renamed Cereal Milk because of its unmistakable sweet milk scent. Its effect includes the more relaxed and soothing feeling of a hybrid tea, with the energetic buzz of Sativa-dominant strains. The high is very clear-headed and uplifting.
Medical marijuana patients can benefit from this strain’s pain-relieving and appetite-stimulating effects. Some also use Cereal Milk to help treat nausea, plus anxiety and insomnia.
As for negative effects, the strain is not too potent in these areas. There are only a few reported side effects. For example, dry eyes, dry mouth, and headaches may occur in rare cases. Furthermore, the THC level is low enough to prevent serious paranoia or anxiety attacks from occurring when using this strain for medical purposes.
Its THC content is between 15% and 25%. In order to grow this strain, you can start indoors or outdoors. Indoors is recommended because the plants will grow quite fast in between two and three months. You can use organic soil when growing inside for optimal results. For outdoor grows, you should use a mix of coconut coir and top-quality potting soil.
The plant can grow up to four weeks, especially indoors, but it can take longer outdoors because of the shorter amount of time it takes for its buds to mature. This is because it needs more time to recover from excessive heat and light.
